Fire Rated Shower Downlight Fitting

 Fire tested & assessed for up to 90 minutes - in the event of a fire the intumescent material completely seals the downlighter. Very easy to install with recessed springs for neatness of appearance. IP65 rated water resistance.

Contributes to the fire resistance performance of a fire rated ceiling/floor construction for up to 90 mins - built protection against the spread of fire & noise pollution
Maintains fire integrity performance without firehood
Can demonstrate compliance with the Fire Safety & Sound Insulation requirements of the various national UK Building Regulations. (Approved Document B & Approved Document E - England & Wales; Part 2 & Part 5 of the Technical Handbook - Scotland; Technical Booklet E - Northern Ireland)

The long can design means they will accept almost any low energy lamp whilst the screw on front always remains secure and yet offers easy access for lamp changing. You will require a minimum ceiling clearance of 150mm for this fitting.
