Fire Rated Fixed Downlighter

Fire tested & assessed for up to 90minutes - in the event of a fire the intumescent material completely seals the downlighter. Very easy to install with recessed springs for neatness of appearance. GU10 240v fitting only.

Contributes to the fire resistance performance of a fire rated ceiling/floor construction for up to 90 mins - built protection against the spread of fire & noise pollution

Maintains fire integrity performance without firehood. 

Can demonstrate compliance with the Fire Safety & Sound Insulation requirements of the various national UK Building Regulations. (Approved Document B & Approved Document E - England & Wales; Part 2 & Part 5 of the Technical Handbook - Scotland; Technical Booklet E - Northern Ireland).

The ceiling clearance figure given assumes a ceiling thickness of 20mm.
