Everyone is different and need different levels and colours of light. Personally I use our 6w smd bulb to replace the standard 60w bulb for my office, livingroom and hall, for my bedroom and bathroom I use the 4w smd bulb to replace a standard 40w bulb, with my kitchen I have three of the 3w spot lights to replace my 35w halogen spots. Total wattage for my six rooms is now only 35w compared with the 365w I was using before. Fantastic energy saving!
